With intensive support from our team rider Sina Fuchs, we were able to develop this unique boot that shines with park-specific features and relies on proven detail solutions from the Slingshot creative department, such as the rubber straps, the removable inner shoe and a wearing comfort that even queens would celebrate. Sina founded the Copycats Club – an all-female wake crew – out of her love for the sport, and this passion has led to an impressive growth and progression of the female rider community around the globe. A development that deserves the highest respect! And that’s exactly why we were excited to build them a rad product to help them push their limits further! LACEABLE LINERS
The Copy Cat Boot benefits from the experience of its brother, the Space Mob Boot. With even more robust eyelets and now round laces, you are prepared for all eventualities. Thanks to the round laces, the boot now holds even better and remains as easy to handle as usual without any annoying frills.
TRI-ZONE CLOSURE
The upper, middle and lower sections of the boot can be individually and precisely adjusted to the rider’s needs with our signature gummy straps. Some like it loose at the top and tight at the bottom, others the other way around and there are even those who constrict their foot like a sausage. No matter what you prefer, the choice is yours!
REMOVEABLE LINERS
The Copy Cats Boot features a removable inner shoe so that rough terrain, stones and long distances are as comfortable as possible for you. The sole, which has three different degrees of hardness, offers maximum walking comfort, even if you have to walk all the way around the lake
REMOVEABLE TONGUE
Fine adjustment with just a flick of the wrist: The strap of the outer boot is removable and thus offers the option to adjust the support of the boot to the respective needs or the planned session. If the strap is removed with a Velcro fastener, the boot becomes more flexible and offers more room to move.
FORGED ALUMINIUM TRACK
Heavy boots that look like bricks on your feet are a thing of the past. With these new aluminium rails, Slingshot bindings are lighter than ever before, but at the same time more robust than in previous years.
RUBBER STRAP CLOSURE SYSTEM
A simple and effective solution to a problem that has plagued wakeboard boots since the beginning. Our rubber Straps are the key to a revolutionary closure system made of durable and high-strength thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), which allows the boots to be tightened evenly. No more loosening over time, no more Velcro and no more tedious adjustment.
DIRECT CONNECT SOLES
Our Bottomless Base System maximises board feel and the rider’s connection to her board and the water. The soles of the liner are in direct contact with the surface of the board, allowing for more direct energy transfer without a hard baseplate restricting the flex of the board. This increases both board feel and control.
INTEGRATED J-BARS
The J-Bars placed in the heel area of the inner shoe enclose the Achilles tendon, flattering it with love and affection. The advantage: the heel always stays exactly where it belongs, which means maximum comfort and a feeling of security, even when it comes to the most radical manoeuvres.
ULTRALIGHT K9 MOUNTING SYSTEM
In 2022, we’re sticking with the K9 mounting system, which creates a stable connection to the board and prevents the heel or toe area of the boat from detaching from the deck during intense movements. The numerous mounting options allow you to choose the stance exactly the way you like it.
